In 1962 Marvel published 134 comics. 89 had Kirby covers and 78 also had interior Kirby art totaling 1,167 pages. 1 reprinted 27 Kirby pages.

The third consecutive 1962 Kirby-cover-only issue of  TALES OF SUSPENSE.


  1. Who keeps stamping the date on the Kirby covers? Can't they read the issue number box?

  2. The store stamped the cover so they would know when it arrived and therefore know when to pull it off the sales rack, tear off the cover and get their money back. The issue number box has a meaningless date of February 1963...
