Despite the huge potential audience, according to Mark Evanier's KIRBY: KING OF COMICS, the Kirby written and drawn BOYS' RANCH did not sell well and was canceled after 6 issues.

  1. A shame, too, because it was a great book. Maybe kid group comics had had their day. I think Biro's Little Wise Guys were still around, but does anyone recall a successful kids group comic from the mid-fifties on? I suppose Legion of Superheroes or Teen Titans, but that's not quite the same thing . . .
