Even though this cover is signed by Kirby some Comic Historians claim it is really by Gil Kane.
Comic Historians DO agree that the 11 page lead story's art IS by Kirby.

  1. FWIW: I'm no expert but I don't really see Kirby *or* Kane in the lay out. In defense of the Kane attribution, it may be because he's burying his developing style -- which started to become clear by the latter 40s -- channeling Kirby and doing a bad job at it so that it looks like the work of neither. I presume the Kane attribution came from Kane himself?
